A new series of national public service advertisements designed to encourage consumers to get involved in their health care by knowing and asking appropriate questions when visiting their doctors or other clinicians was launched today by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality with The Advertising Council and actress and health advocate Fran Drescher.   Learn More

National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP)
The National Academy for State Health Policy is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to helping states achieve excellence in health policy and practice. The organization has offices in Portland, Maine, and Washington, DC. NASHP recognizes that responsibility for health care does not reside in a single state agency or department and provides a unique forum for productive interchange across all lines of authority, including executive offices and the legislative branch.

National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is a private, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality.  NCQA’s mission is to improve the quality of health care by generating useful, understandable information about health care quality to help inform consumer and employer choice. Ohio Hospital Association (OHA)
The Ohio Hospital Association represents 170 hospitals and 40 health systems throughout Ohio. OHA has more than 1,900 personal members of 11 affiliated societies, representing disciplines from hospital marketing to human resources.
