In a joint effort with MassHealth, Permedion, and Massachusetts Hospital Association, MassHealth is increasing the time that providers have to return medical records for Postpayment Inpatient and Outpatient Review from 17 calendar days to 30 calendar days. This change will be effective immediately and will be reflected in the Medical Record Requests for Postpayment cycles going forward.
