HMS was selected to conduct DRG auditing services for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS). Our contracted service includes a retrospective review of inpatient DRG claims for DRG and billing errors. To help communicate review trends and project information to the providers that serve Virginia Medicaid clients, we publish newsletters and participate in provider webinars to offer education on the review process and errors identified.
